Asset: Laminaria-Corallina Subsea Field
Location: Timor Sea

Challenge
The Laminaria-Corallina offshore field is located in the Timor Sea northwest of Darwin. The field has been in production since 1999-2019. The FPSO is permanently moored in 400m of water between Laminaria and Corallina oil field.
The Laminaria-Corallina field consists of:
- Nine development wells and associated production/control spools and jumpers
- Subsea infrastructure consisting of flexible flowlines and umbilicals from FPSO to three manifolds
- Risers and dynamic umbilicals with buoyancy modules installed on mid water arch
- Permanently moored BMIT FPSO
Scope
Nobleseas Engineering executed following project management and consulting scope:
- Final Investment Decision preparation for a new subsea tie back and existing damaged line reinstatement
- Technical assessment of FPSO drydock – Mooring and Risers disconnect/reconnect followed by development of EPCI cost estimates for management approval during production phase
- Lead subsea RBI and Life Extension study work for the subsea field
- Framing of ROV IMR survey and CP inspection campaign for complete subsea field
- Liaised with regulator on the subject of Life Extension and Safety Case revision for future operations
- Developed subsea and mooring integrity status including risk assessment workshop
